Local History: First Jobs through the Years

What kinds of first jobs did Lambertville area residents perform in the past and what can we learn from them?

For our annual scholarship outreach, LHS again invited South Hunterdon Regional High School students to take part in an interactive history project. We paired a student with a longtime resident for an interview about his/her first job. The student was asked to summarize the interview and include research and commentary. Please enjoy this year’s seven submissions! The students came from Grades 9-12.
