Lambertville, NJ 08530 (view the map here)

A truly extraordinary home restoration is complete! Join us for a special tour of local landmark Gaia’s Way, the circa 1744 Holcombe homestead. Owners Jason Kliwinski, an architect, and Lia Nielsen, a construction manager and designer, will take us through and around their house and discuss how they have blended historic preservation with cutting-edge green materials and sustainable renovation techniques. Jason and Lia bought the 7-acre property, which was vacant and minimally maintained for years, from the State of New Jersey in an on-line auction in 2017. We’ll see the glass-enclosed conservatory kitchen, massive historic fireplace and other remarkable interiors, as well as the well and solar panel installations that Gaia’s Way completely off-grid.

This free event is for LHS members only. Refreshments will be served under a tent after the tour. Parking will be on the property. RSVP encouraged for planning purposes to info@lambertvillehistoricalsociety.org.
